stand by

I'm back in Sydney! After living on the other side of the world and visiting some amazing and unique places, let's just say I'm suffering from a little bit of culture shock. the torrential endless rain currently happening isn't helping much. But I'm slowly settling back in, and I'll have some photo journals up once I sort through all my photos. I'm never traveling with that much luggage again!

nose to tail

I went to St John's in Clerkenwell a couple of weeks ago. Fergus Henderson's restaurant was on point as expected and so much good food.

the proud archivist

Where do I even start? The last few weeks I have literally been busy every single day and now I have 2 weeks until I leave London for good (or for a while, we'll see).  My friend L from Berlin has been in town and so has my friend N from Sydney so I've just had a million and one things in my diary. One of my new locals, The Proud Archivist serves an all day brunch including some great bagels. Will be lovely in Summer when the sun is out!

It's crazy how time flies and to be honest, although I have mixed feelings about returning to Sydney, I know I'm desperately in need of a change of pace, a break from my life. Not to mention I've also booked a trip to Paris/Bordeaux/Nice/Cannes/Monaco and I'm stopping in Ho Chi Minh City for a chance to explore a little bit of Vietnam before I end up home again.

Looking back it's been 2 years since I started this blog to document my adventures abroad and a lot has happened. Looking forward to what's next in store!

So I didn't spend the entire time I was in Scandinvavia this time round eating, I did a little bit of sight seeing as well. The architecture is really interesting, and the difference between Malmo and Copenhagen quite significnt, even though they are so close to each other. It was amazing finding out that the company I work built so many iconic fixtures of the city like the Oresund bridge.

I think I'll have to come back in Summer, when it's not as cold and a little bit easier to walk around!
